Real Outcomes

Patient Stories

Real journeys of recovery and hope from our Autism Center department.

Y

Yusuf, 5

Autism — non-verbal

Connecting through communication

Yusuf was non-verbal and found social settings distressing. A combined program of speech therapy, sensory integration, and an AAC communication tool — alongside parent coaching — helped him connect.

Outcome

Uses his communication device and makes eye contact.

E

Eman, 8

ASD — behavioural & school support

Ready for the classroom

Eman struggled with transitions and classroom routines. A structured behavioural plan and school-readiness program built her confidence and self-regulation.

Outcome

Successfully transitioned into mainstream school.
