About the Program
The Diploma in Pathology Technology is a two-year (four-semester) program developing skilled medical laboratory technicians competent in hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and blood banking. Affiliated with the Medical Faculty, Peshawar, the program concludes with supervised practical training at DHQ Teaching Hospital, Mansehra.
Eligibility Criteria
Academic Background
Matriculation (Science) or equivalent from a recognised board.
Minimum Marks
At least 50% marks in Matric (Science) or equivalent.
Admission Process
Merit-based selection; interview where required.

Practical Training at DHQ Hospital, Mansehra
In the final phase of the program, every student completes supervised practical training at the District Head Quarter (DHQ) Teaching Hospital, Mansehra — putting classroom learning into action in a real, busy hospital environment. Working alongside qualified professionals, students build the hands-on competence and confidence that employers look for.
HHIRS diploma students train where the work happens — a structured hospital internship at DHQ Hospital Mansehra ensures graduates step into the workforce already experienced.
