ALL ABOUT HELPING HAND INSTITUTE OF REHABILITATION SCIENCES
HHIRST is a non-profit trust providing educational and clinical services in the field of rehabilitation for last two decades in district Mansehra, Khyber Pukhtunkhwa. HHIRS has been providing accessible, affordable, free rehabilitation services and therapeutic outpatient care intended to achieve positive outcomes in a meaningful and engaging manner. It includes Physical, Occupational, Speech and Language Therapy, Prosthetics-orthotics and Psychological clinical services. The HHIRS also aims to produce competent practitioner who are capable in conducting unique and independent research. TheiInstitute promotes critical thinking and inquiry to foster an environment of research and academic learning. Its programs have been design to meet the growing demand of rehabilitation patients suffering from injuries and disabilities. HHIRS graduates are equipped with the skills and aptitude to provide effective care in restoring body functions, improving mobility, relieving pain and contributing toward a better life style for the patients. It offers Doctor of Physical Therapy program, BS program in Speech and language pathology, Prosthetic and orthotics, and two years Paramedical diploma program in Health Technology, Dental Technology, Pathology, Radiology and Physical therapy. Along with this, the institute is in the process of launching new degree courses. The institute is affiliated with KMU (Khyber Medical University Peshawar). HHIRST envisions to establish a first ever researched based university equipped with modern technology in the field of rehabilitation sciences.
